【Rove In Okinawa】ダイバーには有名！でも一般には？な洞穴 - ウドゥイガマ（恩納村）

沖縄には数多くの洞穴がありますが、その殆どは、地元の人以外にはあまり知られていません。
このウドゥイガマも、沖縄で有名な観光地である万座毛のすぐ近くにあり、また恩納村の指定文化財になっているにも関わらず、観光客で賑わう万座毛とは対照的に、観光客の殆ど居ない穴場的スポットです。
ウドゥイガマの「ウドゥイ」とはは沖縄方言で「踊り」の事で、ガマは「洞窟」を意味します。
つまり、ウドゥイガマとは、「踊りの洞窟」。かつては、この地域の人々が村芝居の稽古をしていたとされる洞窟です。
また昔、若い男女が、この場所で待ち合わせをし、逢瀬を楽しんだ事から、アポガマ（約束の洞穴）とも呼ばれています。
観光客には、あまり知られて居ない場所ですが、この場所から50メートルほど沖の海底に崖があり、海底が35メートルほど、ドロップオフしており、数多くの洞穴があり、多くの魚たちのすみかになっている事から、ダイバーには、このアポガマという名前で知られた場所でもあります。

It is a place that is not well known to tourists, but from this place there is a cliff on the seabed about 50 meters offshore, the seabed is about 35 meters dropping off, there are many caves, many fish The diver is also a place known by the name of Apogama because of its subtlety.
